We're Busy Bees!

Yep, it may have been quiet on the blog front during May, but that's because we have been so swamped! In May, we participated in two shows. The first was a Private Party at Spokane's prestigous Fourteenth And Grand Salon, where we primarily showcased all of our wonderfully chic and trendy womens' designs. They were well received! In fact, if you happen to step into this fabulous salon, you will probably spy some of our pretty pieces adorning many of the gals who work there!

Next was the very large Garden Expo, with an estimated 12,000-16,000 in attendance. This was a fun event, and after a questionable weather week, we fortunately enjoyed beautiful sunshine for our first big outdoor show.

Welcome to all of our new readers/followers/fans who have joined us here after these wonderful events! It was great fun to meet all of you!

And if you are local, and missed these events, don't be sad! We have more coming up! You can come out and visit us at the quickly approaching "Latah Creek Variety Market" on June 20 and 21. This sounds like it is going to be such a fun, family event! There is a big pancake feed both mornings, children's activities, singing and dancing entertainment, and loads of vendors ranging from local farmers, to a variety of arts, crafts, antiques and food vendors. What a great way to spend a portion of Father's Day weekend! Here is a quote from their promotions:

"Our 85 wonderful vendors will display and market their vintage and handmade goods, sweets, plants, wares, jewelry.... so much more... Even carnival rides and fun for the little ones... Getting to the Variety Market is very easy. And finally, we will post more info later regarding our participation at Coeur d'Alene's Art on the Green/Taste of Coeur d'Alene/Street Fair weekend, July 31-Aug 2. We are getting so excited about being in this festival of all festivals!

Just In Time For Mother's Day - Momma Toppings!

Wow. Anyone notice the sudden popularity of flowers in the hair? Maybe it's just me. I have been a little obsessed lately. Kind of like when you're pregnant or wanting to be, and suddenly there are prego women everywhere. Or when you're shopping for a car and previously unnoticed (and uninteresting) makes and models jump out at you from every direction? Ever notice that? OK, I digress... ANYWAY - We can't help but notice the latest trend is NOT just for the "little ladies" in your life (new tagline ideas, anyone?). Lovely, sophisticated ladies everywhere are asking for stylish blossoms to finish off their own hairstyles with a certain flair. We've added a few fabulous choices to our store with these sassy gals specifically in mind. After all, your little one doesn't always have to steal the show.
