Announcing Our May Giveaway Winner!

Technically, it has been Spring for a while now. But around here, Spring is finally starting to show her beautiful face. It’s still hit and miss, mind you – but we’ll take what we can get! What better way to celebrate her arrival than with another GIVEAWAY!! Weeee! This month, we will offer the lucky winner a headband/blossom set of their choice. It can be a foofy Bebe Topping, a sweet and sassy look for your Toddler or Big Girl, or even a simple piece of head-turning elegance for you or your teen! Or, hey! Just In Time For Mother's Day - Momma Toppings!

Wow. Anyone notice the sudden popularity of flowers in the hair? Maybe it's just me. I have been a little obsessed lately. Kind of like when you're pregnant or wanting to be, and suddenly there are prego women everywhere. Or when you're shopping for a car and previously unnoticed (and uninteresting) makes and models jump out at you from every direction? Ever notice that? OK, I digress... ANYWAY - We can't help but notice the latest trend is NOT just for the "little ladies" in your life (new tagline ideas, anyone?). Lovely, sophisticated ladies everywhere are asking for stylish blossoms to finish off their own hairstyles with a certain flair. We've added a few fabulous choices to our store with these sassy gals specifically in mind. After all, your little one doesn't always have to steal the show.

Need to drop some major hints for Mother's Day? Email us with his email address. We'll do the job (wink)... just this once.

Funky Junk Report

Well, our first show was a big success! The small antique and craft market with loads of character was the perfect way to get our feet wet. And the response was highly positive! We were honored by the enthusiasm showered upon our toppings - expressed both in “oohs and ahs,” as well as purchases! We only hope we will be able to handle the volume of a larger show, and are working on solutions for that very nice problem. On a side note, we sold easily as many of our “Momma Toppings” as we did our children’s items. More on THAT later! Here is a sampling of some cuties that were excited about being made “famous” on our blog. (The more “mature” customers were a little camera shy!)

Our First Show!

Local friends, come on out to the Funky Junk Antique Show and Craft Market this weekend. We'll have a booth set up to show off and sell our fabulous Toppings. We're so excited to be able to share our creations in person with the public. If you are in the area, be sure to take advantage of the gorgeous weather we're supposed to have this weekend, and take a short, sunny drive out to what should be a fun and festive Market setting!

We're working feverishly on our displays and of course a wonderful selection of hats, headbands, and Posh Blossom clips. MUCH more than what you see on this site or in our store. We'll even have a nice array of Momma Toppings for you to try out. Once you see them, you'll be hooked!

Ever have one of those days???

I just called my sister in tears and had a hard time convincing her that it was NOT an April Fool’s joke – that I really HAD actually just lost roughly 60 listings on our store website. Technical difficulties. That’s the short version. I can’t even tell you how many hours have been put into those listings...

So today, our big first-of-the-month launch that was only minutes away when said disaster happened, has lost a little luster. HOWEVER, all my years of musical theater have taught me, the show must go on, right? So please see our exciting posts below regarding the winners of our March Giveaways, our NEW April Giveaway, AND our new Posh Blossoms Flower Clips! You will find many of those in our store. And as we work frantically to re-do all of our previous store listings, please feel free to email us if something you see on our blog is not listed, or you have questions about anything! We hope to have all of those lovely little listings back up in no time at all! (feeble attempt at all the enthusiasm I can muster at the moment) In the meantime... you betcha we'll take your "pity orders" to keep us encouraged! Ha ha! No really. We will. Our Convenient New Store AND More Giveaways!

Well, it's here! Our store link is now conveniently in our sidebar. Click on items of interest in the mini-store, or on our store home page link to find our current offerings.
